Ajo Station agents working in the West Desert responded to the Barry Goldwater Bombing Range security office where two suspected illegal aliens were being held. During questioning, the two Mexican males, 22 and 41, admitted to entering the United States illegally. Security officers also turned over five cylinders (Photos available) wrapped in electrical tape found near the individuals. The substance in the packages, nearly three pounds, tested positive for heroin. The narcotics were seized and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration. The subjects will face federal prosecution.
